Course Schedule Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)  Registration

Policies & Procedures:
Course Registration & General Information
Classes are held from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm each day of class.  Lunch is on your own, from 12:00 to 1:00.  The HP-12C financial calculator is used in most classes. Keystrokes for problem solutions will be demonstrated using the HP-12C.  Students are admitted regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status or handicap.  The instructor has the right to remove any disruptive student  from class.  Smoking,  personal telephones,  pagers and recorders are not permitted in the class room.  Only registered, pre-paid students will be in the class room unless a student is attending for the purposes of auditing the class.  Requests for audits, (which include re-examinations), will require a $50 audit fee which is charge for administrative costs.
Course Credit
To receive credit for a course, the student must attend the full scheduled class period, as partial credit cannot be given. Where permitted, students may make-up missed classroom time within one year of the date of the course offering. Seminar courses are for terminal credit only. They do not count towards state approved qualifying or continuing education credit. Please check course description page for further details.
Examination make-up policy
All courses, except continuing education courses, require a passing grade on the final examination for credit. A re-examination receives the same consideration as an audit request and is subject to materials and available classroom space. Examinations are © Copyright protected and are property of the school.
Transcripts
You will be provided with your official transcript by mail upon successful completion of each course. If you need transcripts for more than one state, indicate such on your application. Multiple transcripts can then be provided free.
Tuition
Your class reservation is not considered final until your tuition has been paid.  Tuition must be paid in full before you enter the class.  If you have not registered by the deadline date, you may register on a first come basis at the door, where there is a $50.00 late registration fee.  (Books and other classroom materials must be ordered and shipped at overnight rates.)
Course Location and Hotel Accommodations
Course location varies depending upon the number of students attending. Tuition does not include food or lodging.  If you need a sleeping room, ask at the time of registration. We have found some nearby hotels provide special rates for students who will register for successive weeks.
HP-12C Calculator
Instructions include keystrokes for this calculator only.  Advanced real estate appraisal courses you may attend at a later date, even with other course providers, will most certainly use this industry-wide standard.
Cancellation Policy
The school reserves the right to cancel a class for any reason.  If there is some reason you are unable to attend a course, your registration may be transferred to another person, or another course within one year.  A cancellation request received more than five days prior to the class will receive a complete refund.  (If paid by credit card, the bank processing fees will be deducted from the refund.)  Late cancellations, five days or less, will be charged $50.00.  No refunds or transfers will be given if the student fails to cancel by at least one business day before the class.  All refunds will be completed within 30 days.
